It is three miles long by one and half miles wide.  There are no cars on the island and transport is by horse or tractor drawn vehicles, cycles or simply on foot. A beautiful island, Sark has excellent restaurants and some delightful hotels.  The perfect place to unwind and explore and a perfect place for a walking holiday.  The island is favoured by an amazing number of bird species so is a perfect haven for birdwatchers.  Sark is 350 feet above sea level and its coast is full of caves and cliffs.   The island has several shops.
