The Fête de Remparts is a medieval festival held every other year during a summer weekend in the picturesque town of Dinan. The next Fête de Remparts will be held on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2008 and will be the 18th Festival organised.

The festival is held in the town of Dinan where there are many half-timbered houses dating back centuries. Apart from the many free street shows, there are also exhibitions in other locations such as Les Cordeliers, which was once a monastery and exhibitions and activities are also held in the walled fortress areas.
Street Entertainers abound, harps and old musical instruments are played and the culmination of the weekend's events are a jousting competition and a parade of all the costumed participants through the town. The atmosphere is both wonderful and memorable and the Festival attracts visitors again and again. I.
